Independent entertainment test for fictional dilemmas and informal self-reflection. It is not a validated psychological, medical, legal, or moral assessment.

Two independent dimensions

How the alignment map works

The familiar nine-square grid combines two separate questions: how much structure do you prefer, and whose interests take priority when choices carry a cost?

Order vs. Freedom

The Order axis looks at consistency, duties, institutions, and shared rules. A Lawful result favors dependable structure. A Chaotic result favors autonomy, improvisation, and personal judgment. Neutral results use both approaches according to the situation.

Care vs. Self-interest

The Care axis compares harm reduction and concern for others with personal advantage and goal protection. The classic grid calls these ends Good and Evil. Here those labels describe a fictional decision pattern and never define a real person.

The nine moral alignments

Every result combines one band from each axis. Read the short descriptions as lenses for the supplied scenarios, with room for overlap when your scores sit near a boundary.

How your result is scored

Each of the 24 original statements contributes to Order, Care, or both. Your five-point response is converted to a fixed weight, then each axis is normalized from −100 to 100. Scores of 25 or more enter the Lawful or Good bands; scores of −25 or less enter the Chaotic or Evil bands. Values in between remain Neutral.

Positive and reverse-direction statements are mixed across the test. Changing an earlier answer replaces that response before the complete score is recalculated.

How to read your result

  • Check both numbers. They show strength and direction beyond the category name.
  • Notice the boundaries. A score near Âą25 can reasonably resemble a neighboring result.
  • Use context. Real choices contain facts and responsibilities that a short quiz cannot reproduce.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a psychological or moral evaluation?

No. It is an entertainment quiz built around fictional dilemmas and broad decision-making preferences. It cannot validate your ethics, personality, mental health, or behavior outside the test.

How many possible results are there?

There are nine results created by combining three Order/Freedom bands with three Care/Self-interest bands. Scores near the center produce one of the neutral categories.

Are my answers uploaded or tied to an account?

The test needs no account. Unfinished progress is kept in this browser so you can resume, then removed when you complete or restart the test. Individual answers are not placed in the result URL.

Can my result change if I retake the test?

Yes. Different interpretations, moods, and imagined scenarios can change an informal result. The two axis scores help show whether you are near a boundary between categories.
